Hero I-League sides Rajasthan United FC and Mohammedan SC have agreed on a swap deal in which, Sairuat Kima of Mohammedan SC moves to Rajasthan United on a permanent deal and Lalremsanga Fanai of Rajasthan United moves to Mohammedan SC on a season-long loan deal, Halfway Football has learned.
“Sairuat Kima has agreed to join Rajasthan United on a two-year contract and Lalremsanga to join Mohammedan SC on a loan deal for one year,” a source informed Halfway Football.
Sairuat Kima is a 25-year-old centre-back who started his senior career with DSK Shivajians. In 2017, he joined ISL side Jamshedpur FC and signed for Bengaluru FC in the next season.
He played three matches in the Indian top division and also represented Bengaluru FC reserves in the I-League Second Division League. He joined Sudeva Delhi FC in 2020 before signing for Mohammedan SC at the start of the 2022-23 season.
Lalremsanga, a product of Aizawl FC was promoted to the senior team in 2018. He was also part of the probable squad for the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup. He has more than 40 appearances for Aizawl FC across all competitions.
In 2022, the centre forward signed for Rajasthan United and took part in 23 games in the season. He scored two goals for Rajasthan in the season. The 21-year-old will be joining the Kolkata-side Mohammedan SC on a season-long loan deal.
