I-League side Rajasthan United FC are all set complete the signing of FC Goa’s young midfielder Lalremruata HP on a two-year deal, Halfway Football can exclusively confirm.
“Lalremruata HP has agreed to move to Rajasthan United FC. He is set to sign a two-year contract,” a source informed Halfway Football.
The Mizoram-born midfielder joined FC Goa‘s reserve side in January 2020 from Electric Veng FC. He was part of the Gaurs’ reserve side which took part in the I-League 2nd division in the 2019-20 season.
Lalremruata played seven matches in the RF Developmental League for Goa in the 2021-22 season. Ahead of the 2022-23 ISL season, he was promoted to the senior team but unfortunately didn’t get any minutes.
The 21-year-old played four matches in Durand Cup 2022 and another four matches in the RF Developmental League in 2023. He was also part of the squad which took part in the TACA Goa U20 League 2022-23, in which FC Goa emerged as the title winners.
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Lalremruata can also play on the wings. The young midfielder is one of the upcoming talents in Indian football and hopefully he can prove his ability at Rajasthan United FC in the coming seasons.
