Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters will begin their pre-season ahead of the ninth edition of the Indian Super League in Kochi from August 1, 2022. By mid-august, the tuskers will travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the next phase of their preparation for 2022-23 season. The pre-season tour is being facilitated by H16 Sports.
When to When
The Kochi-based outfit will start its first training session in UAE on the 17th of August. The club will be staying in the country till the 29th of the same month. Three friendly matches are also scheduled during this period.
Opposition teams
The first pre-season friendly of the Blasters will be against Al-Nasr SC on August 20, 2022, Sunday, at Al Maktoum Stadium, Dubai. On August 25, they will face Dibba FC at Dibba Al-Fujairah Stadium and the final match is scheduled on August 28 against Hatta Sports Club at Hamdan Bin Rashed Stadium. Al-Nasr SC & Dibba FC participate in the UAE Pro League (first-tier). Meanwhile, Hatta Sports Club competes in the UAE First Division (second-tier).
Halfway Football also understands that some other clubs were ready to play friendly matches against Blasters, but only the above three clubs were available during the given duration.
